Powered by a 36V 250W JIABO brushless hub motor and a 36V 10.4Ah battery (40 × 2600 mAh EVE cells), it provides up to 60 km pedal-assist range or 30 km throttle-only. The KCHQ 36V 6-tube controller ensures reliable performance management, while the left-mounted LCD display tracks PAS level, speed, and battery status.
The bike supports a top speed of 25 km/h (unlockable to 32 km/h), with 5 pedal-assist levels, a thumb throttle, and a 12-magnet speed sensor for responsive control.
The aluminium alloy frame keeps the bike strong but lightweight at 28.5 kg, and it integrates basket mounting holes for GALAXY basket compatibility. A suspension fork with lockout smooths out uneven terrain, while 700C × 40 mm Chaoyang tyres provide efficiency and grip on city roads.
The Shimano 7-speed system (SL-M315 thumb shifter, TZ500 derailleur with protector, ATA freewheel) ensures flexible gearing. For safety, the City1 is equipped with mechanical disc brakes (FILAIR) with square pads, front & rear LED lights, and an electric horn.
