KOOLUX began when three young cycling enthusiasts took on a challenging 38-mile mountainous ride and found themselves walking their bikes up steep terrain in the dark, cold and exhausted. Determined to solve that struggle, they set out to design electric bikes to help riders keep going. After winning recognition in a campus tech competition, they formally founded the company under the name “KOOLUX” five years later.
