The ENGWE X20

The ENGWE X20 Folding Electric Bike is built for riders who want long-range freedom, rugged comfort, and everyday versatility in one powerful package. Designed to bridge the gap between commuter convenience and all-terrain capability, it combines a foldable frame with fat-tire stability and a more substantial ride feel, making it a strong choice for both city journeys and weekend adventure rides.

One of the standout features of the X20 is its dual 48V battery setup, which supports a claimed range of up to 150 kmon a full charge. This gives riders more flexibility for longer commutes, day rides, and mixed everyday use with fewer charging stops. Whether you are covering daily miles in the city or heading further afield for leisure riding, the X20 is designed to provide the battery endurance needed for bigger journeys.

Comfort and control are central to the riding experience. The bike features 20-inch fat tires that provide extra grip, cushioning, and stability across rough roads, gravel, dirt tracks, and uneven urban surfaces. This is paired with a premium suspension system that helps smooth out bumps and improve ride comfort over longer distances, giving the X20 a more planted and confidence-inspiring feel across a wide range of terrain.

For safety and practicality, the X20 is equipped with hydraulic brakes for strong and dependable stopping power, along with a Shimano 8-speed drivetrain that allows smooth shifting and added flexibility across changing gradients and riding conditions. Its folding frame also makes storage and transport far easier than a traditional full-size adventure bike, adding real everyday convenience to its rugged overall capability. Altogether, the ENGWE X20 is a versatile folding electric bike that combines long-range battery performance, comfort-focused design, and all-terrain confidence in one highly capable package.

ENGWE

ENGWE was officially founded in 2014, inspired by a single memorable ride. Three mountain-bike enthusiasts planned to ride 38 miles in 5 hours through mountainous terrain, but ended up struggling on shaded uphill paths, cold, tired, and eventually pushing their bikes for the final 16 miles. From that harsh experience came the spark of innovation. They entered a university innovation competition with a concept for an electric bike, won recognition, worked on R&D over the next years—and that’s how ENGWE became the brand known for offering e-bikes that combine range, usability, and accessible price.
