The ENGWE L20 3.0 BOOST

The ENGWE L20 3.0 Boost Electric Bike is designed for riders who want compact practicality, strong everyday comfort, and impressive long-range capability in one modern package. Built around a foldable step-through aluminium frame, it offers easy access, convenient storage, and a more user-friendly riding experience, making it especially well suited to commuting, leisure rides, and mixed urban use. Its balanced design also makes it a strong choice for riders who want something comfortable enough for daily travel but versatile enough for gravel paths and light off-road routes.

At the heart of the bike is a 48V 13.5Ah battery, neatly integrated into the frame, delivering a claimed range of up to 135 km in lab conditions. In real-world use, range is stated at around 120 km on lower pedal-assist settings and around 85 km on higher assist levels, depending on terrain, rider weight, conditions, and riding style. That gives the L20 3.0 Boost plenty of flexibility for longer commutes, day rides, and riders who want fewer charging stops between journeys.

Comfort and control are central to the riding experience. The bike uses a full suspension system combined with 20 × 3.0-inch hybrid tyres, helping to smooth out rough roads, gravel tracks, and uneven urban surfaces for a more stable and cushioned ride. This makes the L20 3.0 Boost particularly appealing for riders who want extra comfort over longer distances without stepping up to a much larger or heavier bike.

For safety and usability, the bike is equipped with hydraulic dual-piston brakes for dependable stopping performance, while the Bluetooth-enabled display and ENGWE app connectivity help keep key ride information accessible and easy to manage. Altogether, the ENGWE L20 3.0 Boost is a well-rounded electric bike that combines folding convenience, impressive range, modern connectivity, and comfort-focused design in a compact and highly versatile package.

ENGWE

ENGWE was officially founded in 2014, inspired by a single memorable ride. Three mountain-bike enthusiasts planned to ride 38 miles in 5 hours through mountainous terrain, but ended up struggling on shaded uphill paths, cold, tired, and eventually pushing their bikes for the final 16 miles. From that harsh experience came the spark of innovation. They entered a university innovation competition with a concept for an electric bike, won recognition, worked on R&D over the next years—and that’s how ENGWE became the brand known for offering e-bikes that combine range, usability, and accessible price.
