The ENGWE ENGINE X

Unfold adventure with the ENGWE Engine X, a folding fat-tire electric bike built for riders who want everyday practicality with the freedom to go further. Designed to suit both city commuting and leisure riding, it combines a space-saving folding frame with the confidence and comfort of a larger all-terrain e-bike, making it a strong choice for riders who want versatility without compromise.

One of the standout benefits of the Engine X is its impressive range, offering up to 120 km on a full charge depending on terrain, rider weight, and riding mode. This gives riders the flexibility for longer journeys, fewer charging stops, and more confidence whether commuting during the week or heading out for weekend rides and countryside exploring.

Its folding design makes the bike especially convenient for daily life, allowing it to be stored more easily at home, in the office, or in a car boot when travelling. At the same time, the fat-tire setup provides added grip, cushioning, and stability across rough roads, gravel paths, and uneven urban surfaces, helping the Engine X feel secure and comfortable across a wide range of terrain.

The bike also features a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, giving riders the flexibility to handle changing gradients and varied riding conditions with ease. Altogether, the ENGWE Engine X is a practical and capable folding e-bike that blends long-range performance, comfort, and all-terrain confidence into one versatile package.

ENGWE

ENGWE was officially founded in 2014, inspired by a single memorable ride. Three mountain-bike enthusiasts planned to ride 38 miles in 5 hours through mountainous terrain, but ended up struggling on shaded uphill paths, cold, tired, and eventually pushing their bikes for the final 16 miles. From that harsh experience came the spark of innovation. They entered a university innovation competition with a concept for an electric bike, won recognition, worked on R&D over the next years—and that’s how ENGWE became the brand known for offering e-bikes that combine range, usability, and accessible price.
